Summary
The Clock Tower, in the new Edition Hotel( by Ian Schrager) in NYC, is restauranteur’s Stephen Starr’s latest edition to his dining empire. He has brought in from London Michelin Star Chef, Jason Atherton for an awesome tasting menu. The LD & a friend started with the Heavily Dressed-Crab, with crispy uni, apple batons, & lemon puree. Then the Crispy Prawns( love the eyes!), with mint, lemon mayonnaise, & lime. The main courses were excellent… North African Spiced Colorado lamb, with yogurt, smoked eggplant, & young curried onions, and the mouth watering Dover Sole, with capers, lemon, parsley, & breadcrumbs. The only little down side was that the milk chocolate( always like dark), desert was just ok. Otherwise…excellent meal & well worth the adventure & gets 4 Silver Bullets!!!!
