Summary
Internationally known chef Jose Enrique who restaurant is in a Pink House in the Santurce are of San Juan. Has accolades from Food &Wine Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, and was a James Beard Semi finalist. I found the trip ride through the back streets disappointing adventure. His courses are mostly fried.The menu boards are fun…but that’s not what this is about. The wings were ok, and the crab cakes were fair. The mahi mahi ( i couldn’t do any more fried items), was ok cooked with beans and rice. The chocolate brownie sert with ice-cream, and a sesame brittle candy was another ok. Great atmosphere, but the LD’s journey is still about the food, and this adventure/experience was lacking.
