Summary

Hot & The thin garlic bread was awesome with a
cream cheese dip was a meal in & of itself… 80’s music… What’s with this music in several of NYC restaurants…This is a French brasserie by a restaurant group that is known for its red sauce Italian restaurants…Parm, Carbonne,& Torrisi. The best tuna tartare I’ve had in ages, with spice/ good heat. The steak au pouvre was a short rib with spices was tasty & different. It was a little too salty, but the flavors/ heat/flavors remain in the mouth for several minutes. The pomme frites was thin potato skins with sour cream dipping sauce…disappointing… Nice try for something different for fries, but way off target.. This is the hip& trendy place for the moment…pulls up just short in this event. Lionel Richie to Flock of Seagulls was the range in the music. The beignets recommended the bartender I shouldn’t have had. Then he tried to sell me another desert, after he said he told the kitchen about it not tasting good, but didn’t offer to take off the bill. Desert & fries very disappointing. Had high expectations, the start was great, but they didn’t get to the finish. This wasn’t worth the ride over.
