Summary

Where do I begin on this amazing 18 course tasting, based on Poetry..Yes..Chef Dominique Crenn who had previously earned a Michelin Star in France, has come up with this concept restaurant where the plate is a blank canvas & the ingredients are the paint for her edible artwork. The food is an art form and the plates are landscaped..amazing/fun presentation! This was definitely as someone else stated” an artistic journey of French Cuisine” It was a fabulous evening of partaking in an artist’s work.

Bites size escargot to Trout with eggs that were incredible, Thai basil sorbet with lobster/ foie gros, squid ink pasta, caviar…on & on with no menu.. bone marrow with a salted cracker, a green liquid tea drink.., A Seaweed wafer with matcha Tea, deserts galore( including CHOCOLate…) The plates/dishes were all fabulous..I haven’t had such an amazing meal in the last 7 years, or since the closing of Sona in West Hollywood, which was the LoneDiner’s favorite restaurant for many years & & had many adventures at.Chef’s pre fixe was very expensive & the LoneDiner almost had to take a loan out on his own to partake in this meal..LOL, but the experience was well worth the price!!!!! The LoneDiner shoots unloads the barrel of his gun & fires 5 Silver Bullets for this special meal.
