Summary

Chef Suzanne Goin’s Wine Bar/restaurant in West Hollywood is always a favorite stop for the LD. The Spanish Fried Chicken was spicy/hot & excellent along with the romesco aioli & chili cumin butter. The Focaccia with manchego, jamon, arugula, walnuts & dates was very tasty & jammin. The pappardelle with chanterelles, & pea sprouts was disappointing…( the pasta wasn’t cooked & didn’t taste good.The Butterscotch Pot de Creme with the cashew cookies was very good. I like the ambiance of this newer location, and you can’t always bat a 1000., but it was worth the stop on the road that evening. The LD, due to their faux pas on the pasta, can only fire 3 Silver Bullets on this dining adventure, but knows it’s capable of more at another time….On to the next stop as the LD continues his journey……
