Summary

A long horseback ride across town, to a good restaurant. Top Chef, Chef James Rigato does a very good job in putting together a eclectic menu for the area. The Pan seared scallops with brown butter, grapefruit, caper, brussel sprouts, pistachio, & a white bean puree was flavorful , but served too cold. My fellow diners tonite had the crispy braised michigan pork belly with korean bbq, local sweet coen, & house kimchi, was enjoyed by them, but also lukewarm. The ‘Wall Street” Fries( cause they mean business ) were very good, with the chinese sweet & sour mustard sauce spicy good! The Orchard Salad with spider’s apple, red leaf, macron almond, dried michigan cherries, SagaBlue Cheese, Pickled Onio, Bacon, & Hard Cider Vinaigrette, was tasty, but had too may leafs/greens..The Tandoori Chicken was a lot of food, but very tasty, grilled chicken breast, roasted leg & thigh, cucumber herb yogurt, cauliflower, brown butter, almonds, golden raisins,& pickled shallot. They served us a very nice cheese & nut platter with jam & honey for desert, as well as having the banana cream pie-fair, & the stores desert, also barely ok. All in all the food was good, the waitress had an off night, But the manager was very good, and it overall was good, but not consistent enough for the gallop across town.
