Summary
Very disappointing French Brasserie, in the Le Distict-French Styled Eataly at Brookfield Place in the World Financial District in New York. The Onion Soup was bland…ouch.. The Carpaccio De Boeuf with shaved arugula, Foie Gras, baguette(if you really can call it that) Paris Lemon Vinaigrette, & mushrooms, was good, and the only saving grace here. The chocolate desert was fair….( & Unfortunately, I have to say that there was too much service. The waiter literally stopped by every 3-4 minutes which was annoying, but the manager stopped by 3 times as well), & for one of the first times the LD, says that the service was lacking due to too much attention which I admit is an Oxymoron, but this was moronish. The LoneDiner barely gives this 2 SilverBullets. I’m not sure I’ll venture back to this area agin, but the group that owns it, I’m confident that they’ll get this corrected & running more smoothly in the future. The adventure continues, but this was not one of the better experiences.
