Summary
An excellent meal shared with trusted scouts in fashionable Ferndale.The owners Josie & George are always hospitable & The LD starts with Assagi’s Sangria, full of anti-oxidants. Then the mussels which are excellent,but the piece de resistance are the amazing Pomme Frites, one of the best dishes around the State of Michigan, period… always mouth watering & done just right & well worth the journey to Ferndale just for these( their even good when dipping into the Mussel’s sauce). The Chicken Francese with parmesan,orechietti with eggplant, mushrooms, olives,tomato, lemon beurre blanc was very tasty tonight( maybe it was not eating on a long flight across the country earlier, but won’t use that lame excuse this time). The tiramisu was good, and it was a fun experience with the group. The cross country journey was worthwhile for this meal. The LD fires up 4 Silver Bullets for this experience, and of course can’t wait to return across town, for more fries….)!!!!!
