Summary
It was an adventure to get to Silver Lake, which is a hip area, to the new Breakfast /Lunch restaurant of the chef trio-Jon,Vinny, & Ludo, whose various restaurants are small, & in unusual locations( this one had an old Marantz turn table & receiver ala the 70’s/80’s).The crispy hash brown chilaquiles, with sunny side egg, cotija, & salsa was ok, and had a little kick. The Horchata unfortunately had very little taste & was the downer of the meal.The Churro French Toast with salt& straw ice cream, and mexican chocolate was just ok. The best item, was the Double Decker potato tacos with lime, creme fraiche, carrot, pico, & jack cheese, which made this expedition worthwhile. I enjoyed sitting on the picnic tables in the restaurant & the fun ambience, but don’t need to take another hike over there. I enjoy their other concepts more, so the LD thought this was solid & fires another 3 Silver Bullets on this occasion. The adventure continues…….
