Summary

James Beard award winning Chef’s Elizabeth Pruiett & Chad Robertson’s bakery in “The Mission ” district is pretty amazing. The line was 12 deep before a 7:30 am opening & well worth the wait. The brioche bread pudding with fruit was very good, the fruit scone was spot on, and the large chocolate chip cookie was believe it or not, pretty light. The latte was on par, but the almond croissant was amazing!!!!The LD gorged that day on everything, but the croissant, since i needed the fuel to power through a five hour flight. But the next morning, I got into the croissant, which shot up to the top of my list on almond croissants. The LD, tries them all over the country on his journey’s, but this one, was THAT good, it was sweet/tasty/moist & full of flavor in every bite…..). So, the LD had to fire up 4 Silver Bullets on this adventure. and a special shut out to my taxi driver, for picking me back up,so that I could make another stop on my journey out of town…and another experience for the blog…..)
