Summary
The Hatfield’s newest endeavor is a Churrasco, and unfortunately on this visit, it wasn’t as good as Sycamore Kitchen, or the recently closed finer dining establishment, Hatfield’s. The service was slow, which started the night off on the wrong foot. However, the Hot Skillet focaccia with dandelion greens and ricotta was excellent…finger licking good, but the slow grilled Wagyu-tri-tip with broccolini and O+P burnoose wasn’t good, i choked on the bernaise and broccolini…oops..and for desert, the chocolate pie, rye crust, with Spanish peanuts, and vanilla malted ice cream, only hit a single, and not out of the park..More often than not, the service can set the tone, which unfortunately didn’t strike many cords here. The best the LoneDiner could muster was 2 bullets, on this journey.
