Summary
I journeyed over the pond to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a restauranteur I know in LA, & this adventure was one of the LD’s culinary highlights so far, and undoubtedbly the best lunch, I’ve had…but at that price$$$$ it should be…Chef Joel Robuchon’s Michelin Starred location in the Saint- Germain area was incredible.Sitting at the chefs table & watching the open kitchen & observing & eating… starting with L’Amuse Bouche and the various courses that included caviar, foie gras, pasta, crab, lamb chomps, peas, seafood, and of course prerequisite 2 desserts & wine & champagne…the flavors melted in my mouth & a 2 hour lunch seem pass by in only minutes, since each course started it’s own adventure. All I can say is “WOW”( I was almost speechless/but I caught my breath), this was amazing & am fortunate that I was able to belly up to this table. It also helped doing a lot of walking, so that I could continue on this culinary adventure. Without Hesitation there was 5 Silver Bullets shot after this meal & hope that I’m fortunate to make another journey to enjoy this epicurean delight in the future. A Must Stop if you’re in Paris…For Sure….But have to get ready to walk to the next tasting/degustation restaurant…The LD rides(walks again)!!!!!
