Summary
On this journey to the Placita/Santurce District which has a lot of cool cafes/& nightlife. The LD Started with the Jibarito Mule made with, Bacardi Oakhart spiced rum, hot Pepper infused syrup, fresh l&l juice, & house made Ginger Beer was excellent.The Angus Beef carpaccio in parmesan, balsamic vinigrette reduction with bread toasts was also very good!Next was my mistake in ordering…The popcorn chicken with curry & agave was too fried, not very good. However, the Watermelon & Organic Tomatoes Salad with nuts, olive, cucumbers and Ricotta Cheese was very good.
Lastly the almond coconut custard with vanilla ice cream, looked like a flan, but tasted like a creme brûlée. This restaurant was worth the journey & just missed the mark, but definitely worth another trip, on another adventure. The LD fires 3 Silver Bullets, & is keeping another in the chamber for another trip!
